Look, I lost your cell phone number, so it's awfully hard for me to call you back without it. On top of that, I was under the impression that you would call me and let me know when you had time to hang out with me, seeing as that when you called last and I didn't want to go out at 11:30 at night when I had been up at 6 that morning, you got all bent out of shape and told me that none of the suggestions that I put out there were any good because you were too busy with your filming project.
On top of that, I have a lot of personal issues going on right now, that I hardly need another guilt fucking pity trip on top of it. So whatever, if you want to think that I'm ignoring you or just don't want to hang out with you go ahead. I hardly need these stupid middle school games about "oh you didn't call me back so you obviously don't want anything to do with me." ......... Ok, if you don't want to read this post, I suggest you skip over it.
Ok. So I get up this morning and get ready for work, and as I'm leaving the building, there's a note posted up on the door, that reads something like the following:
"Due to a agressive and possibly vicious dog, your postman has decided to leave your mail at the post office for you to pick up until further notice."
....................... What the fuck. I don't even OWN A FUCKING DOG. And yet, I am being penalized for somebody else who doesn't fucking know how to train their own dog! WTF.
Ok, please understand, my parents have owned dogs for YEARS and I think it is only decent of someone to train their stupid dog well enough that they are not going to try and attack people. On top of that, too many god damn people let their dogs roam free, and without supervision. And for the majority, even if they had supervision they couldn't get the dog to do what they asked it to anyway. WTF.
So now I'm going to have to go down to the VALMONT fucking POST OFFICE and wait in line for at least a half an hour or MORE because some fucking person can't handle keeping their dog on a god damn leash, or even supervising, or even training their damn dog.
Gargh.
On the up side - I got Nintendogs and Feel the Magic for my DS Lite last night, so... that's been very amusing.

Alright, well I have to say that I am enjoying my new job here at Peak. The people are good here - so... yea. So far it's going great.
Other than that, Aaron and I went out and bought the sony 400 DVD changer last night, but we thought about how practical it is, and we are going to go and return it for an Onkyo 6 disc changer instead. Although the 400 disc changer is a very nice idea, the thing is is that it's not practical for him and I because we have over 300 discs right now, so we'll fast be outgrowing that one. And for at $250 system - that's just a bit much.
So, we're going to go ahead and get the onkyo changer, six discs and all. And it's a lot cheaper than the other one.... $120 for a refurbished one, so... yea. That's a lot better for price and all. Sorry sony, but if you want people to make a good choice with your player you should have more room for it, and also make it a bit smaller, because beleive me, it is HUGE. Freking humongous. On top of the idea that you have to actually go through and make it play all of the discs before it recognizes what they are. Though it is very cool that they did do a picture preview for each one - it just isn't worth all of the work when you consider how fast we'd be outgrowing it. Also, the idea that when you move, you probably need to take out all of the discs so that they don't fall out of the carriage, and... yea. That'd be a major pain in the butt.
In other news, Aaron and I hung out with Angela on Sunday. Very cool girl still :D We plotted about maybe doing a December sleepover (Kham, ya interested?) So we'll see how that goes.
Anyhow... yep. That's all I have for now.

Man - I love the anime-beta forum. It's great - there are a lot of good people on there. :D
In other news - it sounds like I'm going to have something lined up for me by Tuesday - so that's good :D
Also, all the guys around here are so sad that I'm going. I feel bad that I'm like 'Oh well, life happens' and they're like "man, this mightly freking sucks".
Oh well - they all know my numbers and stuff, so... it's all good.

Ok, so I suppose that it's time that I explain what the heck is going on.
As of November 18, I will no longer have a job.
Yea, sucky, no?
Well, here's the skinny:
Basically, I got called into one of my manager's offices on Friday, and was told that because of the ACS shit that's going on that another lockheed employee is coming here and taking over my job. They gave me three weeks notice to find something else. Yea. Fun.
And no, it's not because of anything that's going on with my job performance or anything, it's corporate sticking their nose into shit and saying that this woman can't go anywhere else (because she doesn't want to).
So... yea. I'm not particularly happy about it because I really like it here, and I feel like I'm part of the team, which is something that I definately wasn't at sopris. Oh well - life isn't fair. But I'm just going on the idea that a lot of shit can happen in three weeks, and hopefully this woman will find something else out in Denver, and I can just keep my job here.
Regardless, at the very least, the guys here feel bad, and they are looking for other things that I could possibly do here to keep a job. No news as of yet, but at the very least they are doing what they can.
So, basically, I'm back on the hunt for a job. Any suggestions are appriciated for antyhing that might pay well that I don't have to stand on my feet for in Boulder, Colorado. Somewhere near the area code 80301.

Ok, so lots of stuff going on - Halloween potluck tomorrow at work, which I'm making sushi for. Finalization of our costumes (thank you Kham in advance for your help) and all of this good stuff. I think I'm going to go ahead and drag out my ren fest wear and wear it to work.... that I think should work well for work.... Other than that, I'm really looking forward to the Halloween Party that we're going to - it should be a lot of fun.
X.x yea. I'm really tired. I went to the doctor yesterday and got my blood taken so that they can test for my thyroid stuff - because I've just not been feeling up to par. Anyhow, I gotta wait for that to come through - and then he'll probably adjust the dosage and I'll be just fine.
There could be a job opportunity here at work for me here - I just don't know if it'll pan out though. So, waiting game time it is. I am going to keep visualizing that I am going to be in this new position and be an employee of LM - because that's really what I want. So there. I'm going to go ahead and ask some other people to do it for me to - in fact if any other of you guys want to visualize for me that I get this new job and am a LM employee, that'd be very very nice :D
I don't really think that there's terribly much of anything else going on right now. Just this and that, you know?
Congrats to Angie on making the job thing - I told you that you'd make it :D I hope you're liking the working world, and especially the office world. It's an ok place to be overall - better than retail and stuff, and definately more money. Let's get together sometime - I left you my phone number so that you can get ahold of me.

Update time...
Well, I finally snagged Shadow of the Colossus, and before anyone asks, yes I've already beaten it. And holy shit, I want the ending to be different ;-; at least some things turned out ok though that I thought weren't going to.
Anyhow... uhh... yea... Aaron got a phone interview today about some job that would have him traveling most of the time, but the pay is definately worth considering. We'll see how it goes - but I have a good feeling that he's going to get it.
Other than that, I am almost done with our costumes - Just got a few small things to do, paint them and modify the necklines so that they're all good. But, Kham will be helping me with the necklines (ya, I've got no idea) so... reminding me, Kham, do you want me to bring the fabric with me when I pick you up from the airport in case you want to work on it? Or do we just wanna plan on getting together on Wednesday?
My grandparents are really excited that we'll be coming to see them soon - that will be a nice break from working all the time, since I'm gonna have a nice 5 day break from work (Friday through Tuesday)
But other than that, work is going really well. They're keeping me a little more busy so that my brain doesn't rot - so... yea. Maybe one of these days I'll actually have enough work to keep me busy for an entire day, but at least right now it's more busy than it has been, so... that's nice.
I think that that's it for now, I can't think of anything else that I could possibly have here. :D Yep.
